"WE MAKE A LIVING BY WHAT WE GET, WE MAKE A LIFE BY WHAT WE GIVE"
Welcome to The International Relief Fund
Welcome to the International Relief Fund! We are a very small non-profit based out of Denver, Colorado with the purpose of supporting small relief efforts.
The International Relief Fund is a certified 501(c)3 non-profit public charity created in the fall of 2008 in Boulder, Colorado. The IRF was founded by three people who believed that a life of service is the best way to live. Our main purpose is to raise money for small relief projects near and far. The first trip performed by the founders was to Arutam, Ecuador where volunteers helped local villagers with various service projects ranging from planting banana trees to clearing land for construction of a medical hut. This trip served as motivation to create IRF.
The second and most recent trip was to Ilam, Nepal where volunteers helped a local non-profit design a water education and hygiene education program for local schools.
IRF's Next Trip
The IRF has no current relief trips planned. Current considerations include a follow-up trip to Ilam, Nepal and medical relief trips to South America. Visit soon for updates.
During our most recent service to Ilam, Nepal, we helped a local non-profit develop a hygiene education program implemented in local schools
